This newly public aerospace and defense firm is flying under the radar for now, but behind the scenes, it’s stacking some of the sharpest alliances and contracts in the sector.

Fresh off its June IPO, Voyager Technologies priced at $31 and spiked over $70 on day one before retreating into the low $40s. That cool-down offers more than just a second chance, it offers the kind of entry that would make Cathy Woods blush. The company raised $383 million in its offering.

Strategic Partnerships: This Is No Solo Mission

Voyager’s partnership roster reads like a who's who of global tech and defense heavyweights.

Most notably, Palantir Technologies has deepened its alliance with Voyager. The two are co-developing advanced payload systems for military satellites, combining Palantir’s battlefield-proven AI software with Voyager’s proprietary signal-processing hardware. Their latest system integrates RF and imagery analysis with autonomous decision-making onboard satellites. Translation: real-time orbital intelligence.

And then there’s Starlab… Voyager’s joint venture with Airbus, Mitsubishi Corporation, and MDA Space. This isn’t science fiction. It’s the commercial successor to the International Space Station, and Palantir is locked in as Starlab’s exclusive data infrastructure provider. With NASA and the U.S. Space Force among its clientele, Voyager isn’t betting on the future of space… it’s building it.

Leadership with Gravitas

You can tell a lot about a company by who’s steering the ship.

Voyager’s CEO Dylan Taylor isn’t just a suit, he’s a space tourist turned executive, having flown with Blue Origin. He’s one of the rare leaders who understands both the investor psyche and the engineering gruntwork behind orbital systems. The board includes retired General William Shelton, former Commander of the U.S. Air Force Space Command, and Marshall Smith, a former senior NASA systems engineer now heading Voyager’s space division. This is a team that knows how to navigate Washington’s alphabet soup and launch hardware that actually works.

The Fundamentals: Early-Stage, Deep-Tech Growth

Voyager is still early in its revenue journey, pulling in ~$148 million in the past year with a mix of defense contracts, space infrastructure services, and R&D platforms. NASA alone accounts for a good chunk of its business. And let’s not forget the optionality in Starlab, if commercial space stations take off in the next decade, Voyager becomes the next-generation Lockheed Martin of orbit.

Earlier today, I posted a chart on Twitter saying I got long Unity. While the world argues about rate cuts, Nvidia valuations, and whether AI can replace their therapist, I’ve been quietly watching a different story unfold.

Unity’s shaping up to be one of those trades where the chart is just the appetizer. The real meal is what’s happening behind the scenes.

Here’s the setup: Unity cleaned up its act, landed a blue-chip enterprise deal, started building like it actually means it, and, most interestingly, someone with deep pockets might already be placing their bet.

Here’s why I think Unity is setting up for a bullish breakout, both on the chart and in the story arc.

From Game Engine to Global Engine

Unity isn’t just a game engine anymore. It’s a much bigger generator. Nearly half the world’s mobile games run on it. AR/VR? Check.

But this platform is breaking out of its old category. Automotive companies are using it for simulations. Architects are designing walk-throughs. Hollywood has already dabbled. At this point, Unity’s TAM is no longer a “Total Addressable Market.” It’s a Total Anything Market.

And speaking of cars...

BMW Just Went Full Unity

BMW Group just tapped Unity to power its next-gen 3D asset management system 3D Mine. This is a cloud-based pipeline handling everything from concept car design to campaign rollouts.

It’s not PR fluff. BMW is using Unity to fix real enterprise problems: version control chaos, fragmented asset workflows, inefficient cross-team handoffs. Unity’s Asset Manager gives them one secure, scalable hub to build from.

This deal is a validator.

Let’s talk about Vector AI — Unity’s direct answer to AppLovin’s Axon.

AppLovin had the head start. But Unity’s playing a different game. It’s not just monetizing mobile games, it’s building them. That means Unity has a massive edge with first-party behavioral data baked into its platform. Session lengths, rage quits, in-game behavior, churn signals… it sees it all.

So Unity rebuilt its ad platform from scratch. Vector AI launched three months ahead of schedule and is now running across all iOS and Android traffic.

What makes it different?

• It learns from real-time in-app behavior

• Filters out anomalies before they pollute the model

• Optimizes for installs, IAPs, retention

• Prioritizes stable trends over noisy spikes

Early results look promising. Voodoo (BeReal parent) reported better ROAS and higher user quality without jacking up ad spend.

And unlike most AI platforms, Vector actually offers transparent reporting. You can see why your campaign is working, not just that it is.

This isn’t just a rebrand. Unity’s going head-to-head with AppLovin and flexing a stronger data backbone to do it.

The Activist or The Kitty

Now we step into the Dark Arts: Option Flow.

Oftentimes, before an activist stake is announced, we see heavy option flow start to build in a name, concentrated on a specific strike and expiration. In Unity’s case, we’ve seen a notable surge in call buying over the past month.

Doing some quick math

Over the past month:

• ~79,300 calls were bought

• Strike: $30

• Expiration: January 16, 2026

• Average premium: ~$4.03

• Total premium: ≈ $32M

• Notional value: ≈ $238M (~2% of the company)

Now let’s get into the Speculation of the Kitty:

The image on the left is the original Time Magazine cover with “You” in the center. On the right is what Roaring Kitty posted to Twitter on December 5, 2024, the same cover, but with the “You” removed.

He followed it up with a GIF of Dave Chappelle as Rick James singing “Give It To Me Baby,” complete with the line: “Wait 'til I squeeze you.””

After watching GameStop get diluted into oblivion, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s looking for a new playground. And based on his past options positioning, he’s got the bankroll.

Maybe it’s him. Maybe it’s not. But someone is putting $40M on the table and saying, “Let’s see what happens.”

The Trade

We don’t need $40 million to follow the flow. Here’s how I’m planning on playing it:

The Setup

• Buy: Jan 16, 2026 $30 Calls (~$3.45) ~120bps

• Potentially Selling: Jan 16, 2026 $20 Puts (~$2.45)

• Net Cost: ~$1.00

Simple. Your upside is wide open. Your downside is being long Unity at $20, which I don’t mind.

You could just buy shares outright. But I prefer this structure. It’s cleaner, defined, and more capital-efficient.

Final Word

Unity isn’t just a hype trade. It’s a well-structured speculative setup.

You’ve got:
A real AI platform that’s performing
Strong cost discipline
Enterprise validation via BMW
Mysterious, high-conviction call buying
And a chart that’s waking up

It’s still early. Still ignored. And that’s where the edge usually lives.

On Thursday, Israel launched an attack on Iran. The initial market reaction was swift, S&P 500 futures dropped nearly 2% overnight, but just as quickly shrugged it off. By Friday’s close, we were back up ~1% from those lows.

The S&P is sitting right above its 21-day moving average. Keep an eye on that green line next week, a daily close below it would warrant a more risk-off stance in equities. We’re still 88 points below the February high and about 25% off the April 7th lows.

If you’re running light on hedges and we open flat or green, it’s worth considering some Summer Hedges (downside protection), just in case we get hit with SUMMERTIME MADNESS. One clean setup to hedge:

• 5800/5400 put spread on SPX (8/15 expiry), closed Friday at 55.90

• SPY equivalent: 580/540 put spread, closed at 5.92

  

Now, let’s talk oil.

Here’s the move in context:

According to Deutsche Bank via Bloomberg, Thursday/Friday’s jump was one of the top 20 largest two-day moves in oil.

Momentum’s picking up. Societe Generale’s Cross Asset Momentum Indicator is flashing similar levels to July 2023. Back then, oil ripped 33% from the low $70s to $95 over two months.

Geopolitically, the Strait of Hormuz is back in focus. That sliver of water moves 39% of global seaborne crude volume, and it’s one of the most critical chokepoints in the world. Reuters flagged how Iran may be preparing to “choke off” the Strait, or at least rattle the saber. Even the threat of that is bullish for crude.

Over on Polymarket, odds of a wider conflict hit 64% intraday and settled around 40%.

The Trade: OXY

I flagged this chart in real time, during market hours, on Friday via Twitter (X). OXY on the weekly breakout, sitting cleanly above its 21-day.

Here’s how to play it:

Structure A:

• Long stock outright.

Structure B (preferred):

Long $50C Jan 16, 2026 @ 3.60, Short $40P Jan 16, 2026 @ 2.05 = Net cost: 1.55

This gives you leveraged upside and a defined cushion. If you’re assigned on the short puts, you own OXY at $40, a level Berkshire could only dream of.

Speaking of Berkshire, they own ~28% of OXY with an average cost around $54. Current price is still ~15% below that.

Fundamentals Are Improving

CEO Vicki Hollub put it plainly:

“Over the past 10 months we've repaid a total of $6.8 billion, reducing annual interest expense by $370 million… All 2025 maturities have been retired, providing us with a more comfortable runway over the next 14 months.”

Cleaner balance sheet. Impoved debt.
